A Fisherman and His Son
While walking on the shores of Elliot's Beach in Chennai, this fisherman asked me if I would take the photo of him and his child. I loved the way he tenderly held his child - whom I presumed was a girl until I saw a more frontal view.
Does look like a little girl, but maybe I'm just conditioned by the pink and the anklet. Lovely portrait....I try to go back or agree with the person to give/send them a photo....were you able to?
I do that sometimes as well. I actually have some that I printed this week for some of the flower sellers in the Georgetown region of Chennai. I'm sure this fisherman would love a photo of him and his... er boy.
Melissa, I'm loving this Blog... I just accidentally stumbled upon this and somehow am getting hooked to this. I've written you an email too.. please do read it when you get time... Btw, my current Documentary is abt chennai beaches, looks like i can get a lot of info from you... Please do lemme know if you can help.

Glad you like what you are reading/seeing. Would be happy to help (if I can). Do email me again, as I haven't received anything.
