Much like the trucks I've seen in India, fishing boats also get the decorative touch. On these boats, the Indian flag was a favorite symbol, followed by Islamic flags, mosques, and Hindu gods. Eyes stared out, one on each side, as if the bow was its nose. Colors were very vivid, with the national colors being the favorite scheme. Only the slight ripples of the water broke up the caucophany of colors of the reflections. Beautiful indeed.

Painted Boat Designs
