Sunday I went to Lake Pulikat with some teachers to see the birds. This lake is located about 2 1/2 hours away, right on the border with Andra Pradesh. Having left at 5AM, we arrived when the morning light was beautiful. Many of the brightly colored fishing boats were already docked, with the nets being tended to. Although these photos are a bit “busy,” I liked the interplay of colors, enhanced by the morning light. More on Pulikat to come!
